The cool, wet weather on Saturday, February 2, 2008 did nothing to dampen the excitement over the release of the 2005 Far Niente Estate Bottled Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley, Oakville. The winery welcomed wine club members and other special guests to a fantastic party in the caves to usher in the 2005 vintage, as well as taste the 2006 Chardonnay, select vintages of Cave Collection Cabernet Sauvignon, including 1999 and 2003, and the new 2004 Dolce. Replete with candlelight, live music and extraordinary bites presented by Far Niente Executive Chef Abi Martinez, a delightful time was had by all.
