2009 Far Niente Cabernet SauvignonIntroducing the 2009 Far Niente Cabernet Sauvignon

We like to think that Far Niente Cabernet is terrific in any season, but you can’t beat a glass of great Cabernet during the cold, winter months—which is perfect, because each February, we release our newest vintage. This year, our 2009 Far Niente Cabernet Sauvignon was greeted with much fanfare at our annual release party.

Far Niente Chardonnay and the Corton-Charlemagne Clone

video

There’s something special about Far Niente Chardonnay—more than one thing, actually. From the rolling Napa Valley vineyards in Coombsville with their unique soils and microclimates to the skill and care delivered by our winemaking team, our Chardonnay grapes are positioned for successful vintages year after year. But there’s one special element to Far Niente Chardonnay that enhances those mouthwatering flavors and textures we so enjoy: the Corton-Charlemagne clone, which is exclusive to Far Niente Chardonnay. In our latest video, Larry Maguire, Far Niente’s President and CEO, shares the story.

When we installed our solar panel array in May 2008, we knew it made sense financially and ecologically. Just last month we received a little something that reinforced our decision to seek a sustainable power source: a two-year energy bill for $4.72. Far Niente President and CEO Larry Maguire wrote about the check on our blog. Check out the story here.
