Is Far Niente open to the public for tours and tastings?

Yes. After 25 years of being open only to the wine trade, Far Niente winery will open its historic doors for public tours and wine tastings, by appointment only. Please call to schedule your visit with us at (707) 944-2861.

What days is the winery open?

Far Niente is open Monday through Sunday, from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Is the public able to purchase wine from the winery?

Yes. Consumers may purchase wine through our website, www.farniente.com, or by calling the winery at (707) 944-2861. Consumers may also join the Dolce Far Niente Society, through which members receive quarterly wine shipments and other benefits. Purchasers must live in a reciprocal state where it is legal to receive winery direct shipments. For more information on the Dolce Far Niente Society, click here, or contact the winery.

To what states is it legal to ship wine?

We can ship to; Alaska, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, South Carolina, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming. 

These states are available with restrictions;  Arizona, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Maine, Michigan, Montana, New Jersey, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas and Vermont.
